The Ultimate Foodie’s Guide: 15 Best Places to Eat on Nusa Lembongan

It’s no secret that Nusa Lembongan, a tiny island just a 30-minute boat ride from Bali, is one of my favorite places in all of Bali. With its stunning turquoise waters, vibrant pink bougainvillea, and a charming island vibe that always reminds me of Sophie and Donna running around Greece in “Mamma Mia,” this little slice of paradise has so much to offer. And the food? Simply exceptional. One thing I love about Lembongan is that most of the restaurants and beach clubs are perched right above the water or on the beach, giving you endless blue views and glimpses of Bali’s volcanoes. Here are my top picks for where to eat on this enchanting island.

The Deck

Perched right on the water, The Deck Café & Bar is an ultra-Instagrammable spot that perfectly blends refreshing cocktails, delicious food, and jaw-dropping views of the ocean and Bali’s volcanoes. Nestled within Batu Karang Resort, getting here is an experience in itself. You’ll stroll along what’s known as “Millionaires Mile,” my favorite part of Lembongan, with its luxurious vibes and stunning scenery. Whether you’re here for a sunset drink or a leisurely meal, The Deck is the perfect place to soak in the beauty of this enchanting island.

The Playful Table – A Hidden Gem

Tucked away within Morin Resort, The Playful Table might be a bit tricky to find, but trust me, it’s worth the adventure. This gorgeous restaurant overlooks Song Lambung Beach and is dedicated to crafting plant-based and gluten-free dishes from scratch, using only the freshest organic ingredients sourced as locally as possible. You can dine poolside, soaking in the serene vibes and stunning views. If you’re a fan of healthy, delicious food or just love a beautiful dining spot, The Playful Table is an absolute must-visit on Nusa Lembongan.

Indiana Kenanga transports you straight to Tulum with its white sands, daybeds, and shabby chic decor. Set oceanfront on the prime stretch of Jungut Batu Beach, this charming spot is perfect for a romantic dinner.

Ohana’s – Lembongan’s Best Sunset Spot

Ohana’s is the hottest spot on Nusa Lembongan, and it’s easy to see why. They serve up the BEST frozen mango daiquiris, pizzas, spicy poke, and more. While it’s fantastic any time of day, I usually head here for sunset – the views are simply unbeatable. Plus, you can book in advance to reserve a daybed, making your visit even more relaxing. Ohana’s also offers free pick-up and drop-off services, so getting there is a breeze. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of great food, delicious drinks, and stunning scenery, Ohana’s is the place to be.

The views here are absolutely unbeatable, offering a breathtaking panorama that’s perfect for relaxation and taking in the natural beauty. Complete with a pool and hot tub, Klyf Club is the ideal spot to spend the day lounging and soaking up the sun.

Kayu

A little gem located in Jungut Batu, Kayu, offers a diverse menu of fresh, locally-sourced dishes amidst a lush green garden. The cinnamon roll pancakes are my personal favorite.

La Bianca

La Bianca is a Spanish-Italian gem that exudes boho vibes, inviting guests to take a leisurely stroll through its charming surroundings. This is another spot I love for sunset – the ambiance is simply magical. Be sure to book in advance to secure your spot and enjoy a memorable evening in this picturesque setting.

Lionfish – The Ultimate Coworking Haven

Located at Tigerlilly’s Beach Resort, Lionfish Café is the ultimate spot for those needing high-speed WiFi while enjoying a picturesque beachside setting. Dawn & Dusk at Lago

Lago Beach is nestled along the beautiful shores of Song Lambung Beach. Take a leisurely walk down the path to the sand and you’ll arrive at Dusk & Dawn, a beachfront café and restaurant perfectly positioned for ocean views. Downstairs at Dawn you can grab smoothies, fresh juices, coffee, and pastries, while upstairs at Dusk is designed for sunset cocktails and relaxed dinners overlooking the water. You can also spend the afternoon at the Lago Beach Sundeck, where for a small fee you can enjoy sun loungers, a cold plunge, and a sauna right above the beach.

The Pontoon at Lago – Dine & Sip at Sea

For a unique experience, make your way to the Pontoon at Lago. Head to Lago Beach Café, where you’ll take a small boat to the pontoon just off the coast of Nusa Lembongan. With craft beer, margaritas, and a selection of cocktails, you can waste your time away lounging in the shade and swimming in the warm waters of the Nusa Islands. This is also the perfect spot to paddle out to Playgrounds surf break from (or for surfer girlfriends like me to drink wine while they watch their boyfriend surf).

Tigerlilly’s Beach Shack

Head down to the beach from Tigerlilly’s Beach Resort and you’ll discover their charming beach shack. It’s the perfect place to unwind—relax on a sunlounger, sip on cocktails during their happy hour from 5-6 pm, and soak in the laid-back beach vibes.

Ginger & Jamu – Wholesome Eats on Lembongan

Ginger & Jamu is an unassuming gem located on Jungut Batu Beach. Known for its healthy food options and fantastic happy hour, it’s the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a relaxed lunch by the beach. Whether you’re grabbing a bite after a swim or just lounging in the sun, this charming café offers a tranquil beachside retreat.

The Howf – Whiskey Bar

This place doesn’t serve food, but I had to include it because we had one of the best Old Fashioned’s and Espresso Martinis in Bali here. Located on the water below the Deck, relax with some handcrafted cocktails in this unique old-world-themed spot.
