Photo Editing 101: Vintage Photos on VSCO

In my last blog post, Photo Editing 101: Apps I Use. I outlined a few essential apps that I use to edit my photos, one being VSCO. VSCO is a powerful tool for photo inspiration as well as editing, and offers a variety of amazing filters.

I’ve recently been OBSESSED with vintage looking digital photos. I love the look of photos shot on film, however film can be very expensive. Instead of sacrificing the look of photos on film (diffused light, sepia tones, pictures faded over time, scratches, etc.) I often opt to take digital photos and edit them to look vintage. Also: Editing a photo to look old can transform the look of a poor-quality photo.

Below are a few of my favorite edits to make your pictures unique & aged using VSCO, which if you haven’t already downloaded, you can get here.
